Traditional Actions and Indications

In modern applications, it is commonly used for pattern-differentiation-based adjunctive management of skin problems such as eczema and urticaria.

Precautions

  • Difficulty breathing, swelling of the face or lips, or the rapid appearance of wheals over the body may indicate a severe allergic reaction and requires immediate emergency care.
  • Seek medical attention promptly if a rash is accompanied by high fever, mucosal damage, or extensive peeling.
  • Pregnant women, breastfeeding women, children, and people with abnormal liver or kidney function are advised to consult a professional before use.
  • Treatment of skin disorders should also include avoiding known triggers and using topical or systemic medications as recommended by a physician.
