Traditional Actions and Indications

Traditionally used for manifestations of Qi and Blood deficiency, including a pale or sallow complexion, fatigue, palpitations, dizziness, poor appetite, and light menstrual flow in women. In modern applications, it is often used for pattern-differentiated regulation during recovery from physical weakness and similar conditions.

Precautions

  • The cause of anemia, dizziness, palpitations, or menstrual abnormalities should first be clarified; do not self-manage these conditions long term solely on the basis of “Qi and Blood deficiency.”
  • Use with caution in cases of febrile infection, pronounced damp-heat, or more severe abdominal distention and loose stools.
  • Pregnant women, breastfeeding women, and people currently using anticoagulant medications should consult a physician before use.
  • The dosage and course of treatment for different preparations should follow the product instructions.
