Traditional Actions and Indications

Traditionally used for the early stage of damp-warmth disorders, particularly manifestations in which dampness predominates over heat, such as heaviness of the head and body, chest oppression, poor appetite, afternoon feverishness, and scanty urination.

Precautions

  • Seek medical attention promptly in cases of persistent high fever, significant dehydration, altered consciousness, or worsening infection symptoms.
  • Pattern differentiation for damp-warmth disorders can be complex; do not self-administer it long term based solely on a feeling of heaviness in the body.
  • Pregnant or breastfeeding women, children, and people with impaired kidney function are advised to consult a qualified professional before use.
