Indications

Ingredients

Huangqi, Chuanxiong, Guiwei, Taoren, Chishao, Honghua, Dilong

Directions

The adult daily dose is 6 grams, taken in three divided doses; those aged 8~15 years should take two-thirds of the adult dose, those aged 5~7 years should take one-half of the adult dose, and those aged 2~4 years should take one-third of the adult dose. Take with warm water before meals or between meals.

Precautions

Not suitable for heart-lung excess-heat patterns with high fever, profuse phlegm, and a surging-large pulse, or Zhongzang patterns with clouded spirit, dry tongue, reddish urine, constipation, and a forceful-large pulse; contraindicated for those with yin deficiency and blood heat or blood stasis excess patterns; not recommended for those with excessive menstrual bleeding; use with caution during pregnancy. Discontinue use and seek medical attention if abnormal bleeding or other discomfort occurs.
